Advertising & measurement Cookies only with your consent

We advertise our simulator experiences through Google Ads. Google's tag (gtag.js, account AW-16622267128) loads on every page of this site, but it starts in Google's consent mode with all advertising storage switched off.

Before you accept — and if you reject — nothing is stored on your device. In that state the tag sets none of the cookies below and reads nothing back. It sends Google only an aggregated, cookieless signal that a page was viewed or a booking was made. That signal carries no cookie, no advertising identifier, and nothing that identifies you or your device; Google uses it only to produce anonymous, modelled totals.

Only if you press Accept is the same tag permitted to set the following cookies on this domain, which is what lets us see which specific ad led to a booking:

Purpose. To measure how many bookings result from our advertising, so we can tell which ads are worth paying for. It is measurement, not profiling: we do not use it to build a profile of you, we do not sell or share your browsing data with advertising networks, and we do not run retargeting campaigns from it.

Provider. Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google acts as an independent controller for this data — see Google's advertising privacy information.

If you reject. None of the cookies above are ever set and nothing is stored on or read from your device. Only the aggregated, cookieless signals described above are sent. The website, your booking, and your payment all work exactly the same, and you will see our ads no less often — we simply cannot tell which ad worked.

Click identifiers in links. When you arrive from one of our ads, the link carries a Google click identifier (gclid) in the page address. Until you accept, we ask Google's tag to keep that identifier in the address bar as you move between our pages rather than storing it in a cookie. It stays in the URL, is not written to your device, and is discarded when you leave.

Withdrawing consent. Use the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page and choose Reject. This is as easy as giving consent in the first place, takes effect immediately, switches advertising storage back off, and clears these cookies from this domain. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Cookies on other domains

The above covers cookies on this website only. Our booking runs on our own site, but if you follow a link in Acuity's own confirmation or reschedule emails you may land on a page hosted by our scheduling provider, Acuity Scheduling, at acuityscheduling.com. Those pages carry Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) advertising tags and set advertising cookies on that separate domain. This does not affect the cookies used on our website, and Acuity's own privacy and cookie notices govern that domain.
